Prenatal & Postnatal Massage in Beverly Hills

Prenatal and postnatal massage offers care during pregnancy and after childbirth. I tailor each session to help ease muscle tension and encourage relaxation as your body’s needs change.

Before your prenatal or postnatal massage, I ask about your stage of pregnancy or time since childbirth. I also discuss your preferences, areas of tension, and any guidance from your healthcare provider. From there, I shape the appointment around your comfort and priorities.

During pregnancy, I use supportive positioning and gentle massage techniques for a comfortable treatment. After childbirth, sessions offer time to unwind while addressing muscle tension from feeding, carrying, and caring for your baby.

Prenatal & Postnatal Massage FAQs

What is the difference between prenatal and postnatal massage?

Prenatal massage is adapted for your session during pregnancy, while postnatal massage takes place after childbirth. In both sessions, I adjust positioning, pressure, and focus areas to your needs. First, I discuss your preferences. Then, I adapt the massage to your comfort and feedback.

Prenatal massage is often postponed until the second trimester. If your pregnancy is uncomplicated, first-trimester massage may be appropriate after checking with your obstetrician.

A 60-minute session suits focused work or a full-body massage with less time on individual areas. However, 90 minutes allows a slower pace and extra attention to several areas. If you’re unsure, I can help you choose based on your priorities.

Your massage takes place at MOssage Therapeia, my private studio in Beverly Hills.
